Examine the numbers and you'll soon agree nothing has really changed. For many stations it's the same old mini-see-saw. WGY's boost came from Sean Hannity, Rush, and to a lesser extent from Michael Savage.
By the way, Talk1300 and WROW are now equal, but when you add the numbers they don't sum as high as they did when Vandenburgh was at WROW.
you wanted thoughts: If WROW had stuck it out with Mark Williams I'll bet they'd be at least a point and a half higher (and building). Looks like the novelties of "Daybreak" and Sherman are wearing off..... next book will tell (unless it's the same up-and-down all over again) - WKLI should drop lower because of Xmas music, don'tcha think? WGY should stay high, because even though the recent storm coverage sucked and the Christmas Special aired on 1300 this year, people still associate that stuff with 810 and mark their ratings books accordingly!
The new figures have let the air out of WROW's crowing about how they're #1 in this and #2 in that. But then again all the Pamal stations like to claim they're number one, when most of the time they are not.
