Albany Trends

Alright in-market mavens, experts, critics, tell the rest of us Radio-Info pigeons what you think about the latest Albany trend. Looks like WGNA had a major wobble; and as some here predicted, ears are moving to WROW. So who are the Pretenders and Contenders? The rest of the civilized world awaits your esteemed opinion. Yes, it's Persons 12+ and nothing more than a beauty contest, but give it your best shot. As usual, no wagering, please. -9-

GNA down 1.5 from 10.4 to 8.9. Cat Country gets a 1.3. Perhaps Pamal's strategy to use Cat Country as a GNA spoiler is working? Or, it could just be a wobble.

Cat and Bridge are royal failures. A 1.3 on Cat is not having any impact on WGNA and Bridge continues to drop more and more. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bridge go join Cat in the 1.3 club.

Yet again people, it takes A YEAR+ to see if a new format is a failure or success. Not sure how many times we have to say that...

You always say that but I have noticed over the years, that the stations that succeed in this market, show instant significant improvement immediately after a format change. I predict that both the Bridge (in its present form) and Cat country will be failures...

Magic 100.9 format from the 100.9 The Point format was a steady climb in ratings..

Has it looked as if The River (99.5) has seen ANY erotion (no pun intended) from The Bridge? Hey... maybe THAT was their intension at naming 100.9 -- thinking that "up here, from the Bridge, you can look DOWN upon the River"!

Or am I just fishing for dead fish here???? ???
