Tonight's Angels at Yankees ALCS game 6 has been postponed by rain and will be played tomorrow at 8:20 pm.
Wonder if WEEI will carry Sun night NFL and put baseball on WRKO? Also should Angels win tomorrow night a game 7
would be Monday...another conflict? football on EEI, baseball or RKO, or vice versa...?

There's no schedule up for Monday yet

WEEI's sched also says Sunday Night Football for tomorrow night but I'm guessing it's ALCS...?
 
I saw game 7, if needed Monday at 5:20

Now Selig was going to wait till 7 to call tonights game, I got the info a little after 625 and emailed my GM. Since the powers that be in NYC told us to run it automated without a Board Op, nobody was there to do anything about fixing the problem.

I got a call at 10 minutes of Seven from the GM, who was out and about and in no position to get to Woburn by 7:29:00 to reprogram the Smartcaster. I made a 45 minute drive in about 30 minutes, and no I did not take my Porsche out in the rain to do it! I did manage to get the 730 break reprogrammed with 25 seconds to spare, but I forgot to take the sports intro out.... oh well. Did I tell you my weak point is that freaking automation system I hate it!

So after getting my instructions from the Boss, and reprogramming the automation for tonight and Sunday night, we'll see what happens! Oh ya you should see my hand entered corrections to the program logs.... I hope nobody ever tries to figure them out!
 
Ah, thanks for the info. I found out when I saw the headline on yahoo sports...and somewhere, maybe in the NY papers (sites) it said that the gates to Yankee Stadium were open for an hour but then they decided to call it.

Well if game 7 is a 5:20 start (again if needed) it wouldn't be on RKO unless they were to JIP (join in progress) it at 7 after Howie, and I doubt WEEI would go to it (unless they JIP it at 6 or so...are they scheduling it at that time so it doesn't conflict with Mon. night football? Even if game runs 3 hrs, it's over by kickoff_)

WEEI _did_ join one baseball playoff in progress after Celts...
 
yahoo sports article says 7:57 pm for Monday and the schedule page says Mon at 8:20 (that would be 5:20
LA time, but...)
MLB.com says 7:57 pm as well. What the....?

Smartcaster is a DOS system, We run it on a couple of ancient but stable machines, one for each station.

We have to do everything on site, no dial up capability.
 
Sched on WEEI site says they aren't carrying WS game 1 Wed night (WRKO site doesn't say anything about WS for that night). I think it says they have Celtics game, then Mikey afterwards. Thu's game 2 will be on WEEI, as will the weekend games though I think the Sun game will be joined in progress after Celtics. (If there's nobody else in Boston carrying WS game 1 and you're working, etc.; little or no TV access, you can try WCBS 880, WPOP 1410,
WPHT 1210 etc

Yes, both stations here run from Smartcaster (Iowa) systems automation.
They are both stand-alone MS-DOS machines, but they do what we
need them to do, with very few "issues". Very simple, very basic -
they just chug their little hard drives out without complaints...
