ALEX TREBEK IS 71, WHO COULD FILL HIS SHOES ?

Mr. Trebek had a heart attack today, and is doing fine. But, if he ever left the show who could
do his job?

I think Chuck Woolery could..........and add a bit more personality to the show as well.

Just about anyone suave enough to reliably read the clues and with just a hint of humor could host "Jeopardy!". Rich Fields or Matt Lauer would both be a good pick.

I said this before, but I think it bears repeating.

Trebek has accomplished something on a day-to-day basis, at 71 no less, that even Art Fleming could not do very often: "clear the board." And in Fleming's day, there was less commercial time! I have seen YouTube clips of the Fleming version, and I will admit, the clues were much longer on the board; but also Fleming had this knack for adding conversation (especially ribbing Don Pardo) during the game, that I am not sure if the contestants cared to hear, when clues were still remaining.

Whoever takes over, if that were to happen, will have to be brisk, and keep the game moving. No easy trick....I sure couldn't do it.

Ken Jennings! After all, he was Jeopardy for much of 2004!

But speaking of John O'Hurley...if he still hosted Family Feud today (instead of Steve Harvey), how would he handle those sex-related answers to survey questions?

My pick for next "Jeopardy" host: Ryan Seacrest! Why not, it's not like he's got too much going on right now... ::)
