Alex Trebek's mustache

I thought I saw this topic here but now I can't find it.

For the first week or so it was so distracting because i wasn't used to it being there.

Now it doesn't bother me.

He said there were about as many people supporting it as opposing it. That was only a few weeks after the first episode where he had one, so those episodes couldn't have been taped too far in advance.

For what it's worth Alex is hosting TCM's Friday Night Spotlight this month, and he doesn't have a mustache. But I don't know when his segments were taped.

Like I said earlier I really don't care one way or the other It's his face.

He finally mentioned it during one of the episodes. I was surprised, as far in advance as they tape the show, that he had already gotten feedback.

Kids' week this week. One of the kids went trick-or-treating as Alex--including the mustache. No one knew who he was supposed to be.

This came long before he did it, but a contstant who wanted Alex to grow a mustache again brought a drawing of how he would look if he did.

The episode has finally been rebroadcast on a Saturday night.

the thing about Alex was when i was little was my parents would make fun of him because he treated the show very seriously unlike Sajak on Wheel or even Jim Perry on Sale Of The Century

I don't think Alex is all that serious.

And we hear about the mustache again. A seven-day champion was sent packing this week by a man with an unusual mustache Alex liked, and Alex's mustache was mentioned.
