Alexa Promo

Saw an interesting combination promo/public service announcement on Channel 8 this afternoon that dove tailed a promotional spread for Alexa and traffic with a five second tag for the seat belts "Buckle Up" campaign.

The true intent seemed to be on spotlighting Alexa while shoe horning the seat belt angle into what no doubt will result in a PSA credit for Channel 8. It was well done, and it may already have been running and I'm just now seeing it.

Also saw a wx promo last night devoted exclusively to Pete Delkus. Showed him in a series of tight shots, and this promo looked good, as well. It is structured along the "Trust Troy" line--"Prognosticate with Pete" maybe. Ed, this is your cue to insert your poetic and alliterative mastery into the the thread.

And that's it for now from Belo's promotional world.

Ye gad, yes. Or a few other products that would be entirely appropriate but violate good taste, even on this board.
