Gee, would you like to be more specific?

Does that mean that you are an actual program director?
Here's an idea: start your own board, invite people to join it, and restrict membership only to people that you feel have credentials that meet your specific criteria, such as no one with rank lower than assistant music director, or jocks with five years of major-market experience -- sort of like the "you must be this tall to ride" bar at Disneyland.
I think that the great joy of reading this board is that you get a little of everything: there are a few verifiable industry experts, a few who have some insider cred, and a few who are just along for the fun of it -- you know, the ones who consistently post stuff like "I think Clear Channel should flip Live 105 to CHR and then turn KNBR into an oldies station to replace KFRC..."
If you don't like a post, move on to the next one. (That's what I do.) If you have something specific that you'd like to discuss, post it. (That's what I do.) And if you think some (or most) of us are stupid, nothing is forcing anyone to stick around here.
I know you have a real background in radio, and that you've actually worked at some great stations. I hope you won't get too frustrated when wannabees (I'm one of 'em) sometimes post stuff that is off-the-wall. When you see stuff like that, smile, shrug it off, and post something brilliant that us bottom-feeders will eat up.
