Alice Cooper and The Rocket 95.7

Did The Rocket in Lafayette dump Nights with Alice Cooper?

I flipped by earlier this evening and caught music and sweepers instead of the show.

I guess if you were driving through and didn't hear it on..probably got dropped. Sarcasm aside, yes, the Rocket dropped ALice Cooper.

It's on here in Indianapolis and I really enjoy it when I have to work nights. One of the other stations in town was trying to dog it by saying it wasn't worth listening to because it wasn't live. But I find Cooper far more insightful and entertaining than any live dj here. What do I care if he's not here in Indianapolis? No one plays requests in this city any way. So I could care less where someone is speaking to me from. I'm surprised he was dropped. His show is actually quite good. Who did they replace him with?

can you say waitt radio networks coming soon to a radio station in lafayette?

If that turns out true, AMP and Waitt would be the perfect marriage between a frugally run radio broadcasting company and a frugally run radio syndication network company.

It's all about diplomacy.

How are his ratings in Indy during that time, compared to "One of the other stations in town (who) was trying to dog it?" I have no access to the ratings books. Would be curious.

Slightly? I'd like to hear from someone who has numbers. Is the evening slot in a dead heat? Or is Cooper beating Jack and WKLU?
