Alice Cooper on KLH

Heard part of Alice Cooper's show last night on KLH.I listened for about an hour and a half. On the plus side Alice does seem to put on an entertaining show( I think he is syndicated out of KDKB Phoenix but may be wrong). On the negative side I heard a lot, and I mean a lot of of 80s metal. Stuff I have never heard on KLH before considering in the past they have always went out of the way to state " no heavy metal ying yang".But then I haven't heard them use their token " Milwuakee's largest on air music library" lately either.
Wouldn't Alice Cooper's show be better formated for sister station "the hog"??
Just playing arm chair pd here... any thoughts??? comments???

It was a bit strange hearing Iron Maiden and Dio on KLH. Maybe they're trying to gang up on Brew.
______________

He's on Classic Rock 95.3 (WWYW Winnebago) out here in Rockford... That station doesn't normally play any of the hard stuff (not that I've heard anyway). He's also on WIBA-FM Madison.

It seems to be a move to keep the brew or the hog from picking up the program. Alice would be a better fit at The Hog.

The Hog and KLH are owned by the same company. They're in the same building.

I did notice The Hog is carrying "House Of Hair" with Dee Snider (of Twisted Sister fame). KLH also carries another rocker's radio show: Little Steven's Underground Garage.

The Brew doesn't seem at all interested in specialty programming. It's all Brew 24/7.
______________
