Alice on ION tonite

Is it just me or is threre something wrong with the video of Alice they're running on the ION Network tonight? It reminds me almost like when you watch a video over the internert or when you watch those newsreports that feature video phones.

Never Mind. Apparently there's a problem with the network. Mama's Family is having the same problem. Closed captioning doesn't work either.

I just knew that stupid "speed it up then slow it down" playback they've been doing was going to bite them you-know where someday

Was it a network-wide problem, or maybe just a bad connection to your affiliate?

I recall that when the Alice reruns ran on TNN [before they were Spike] a decade ago, they were sped up in a rather primitive version of time-compression, so this must have been what Warners gave Ion.

It's not just Alice. It was REALLY telling during the all too brief Monkees run. It made the musical portions almost unwatchable.
