Alicia Lane's Replacement

Who do you think CBS 3 should hire to replace Alicia Lane? I have a couple ideas.
Erin O'Hearn(wpvi)
Liz Keptner(kyw)
Angella Russell(kyw)
Lesley Van Arsdall(kyw)

All those suggestions are excellent...I think they should maybe show some loyalty...how about pat ciorrachi (sp)...they could really promote the experience factor and you would have two strong anchors who know how to handle breaking news and know the region inside and out...but youth will win out!!!

do you think Pat Ciarrocchi would want that assignment? I liked her in the mornings and at 5 some time ago, and thought she preferred a lighter schedule when they dissolved the news at 5, and only anchoring at noon. I like her reports at 6.

Susan Barnett is getting buzz as a possible replacement.

Sadly for Pat C., I don't think she's on the short list for management. She's probably not on the long list, either.

The days of local news anchor pairings looking like second marriages (older male, younger female) look like they're going to continue for some time.

no surprise what with the barnett candidate consideration ... i had wondered about her being thought of , anyhow .... seems the pretty eyed ladies that look great on camera get extra consideration .... rating ratings ratings
