WFXH PD BJ Kinard Resigns

ADVENTURE RADIO Alternative WFXH (ROCK 106.1)/SAVANNAH, GA-HILTON HEAD, SC PD/afternooner BJ KINARD has resigned after 3 1/2 years at the station to pursue a "real job." BJ and his family will be relocating to ATLANTA. "Rumor has it you can make more money out of radio than in it," he said.

"I don't know what he's talking about, he never had to pay for a beer." said OM SUSAN GROVES, who is now accepting applications for WFXH's PD/afternoon opening. Send packages to [email protected].


In the meantime, you can still find BJ at the station for the next month or so. KINARD added, "I've enjoyed my years in radio and maybe I'll come back to it someday, but for now it's family first. I'll miss ROCK 106.1."

I just hope that Susan and the new PD can make this station's playlist far less repetitive over time.
