All-Brokered WMCN Now Calling Itself "Get It On TV Philly"

I noticed wtve 51 has a few comedys like Frasier...It would be nice for one of these channels to run all the old tv shows...non stop...

Thanks I didn't notice that. I have WTVE removed off my channel lineup.

Seems like they are following sister station WRNN.
WRNN has Cheers & Inside Edition, WTVE has Frasier & Inside Edition.

The closest thing to old tv shows...is WGN America.

ComStar Media Fund owns FamilyNet and American Life Network, which has some old shows too. Channels are carried on Fios. There is also Hallmark and TV Land, and digital subchannels like RTV.

For a small indy station, with even full cable coverage, infomercials likely pays the bills. The station would anyways gets skipped and removed (when people select Favorite channels)

Both WTVE and WRNN run Richard French's nightly talk show. I think he owns both of them.
