All Christmas?

Nashville now has 2 all Christmas Music stations (The Fish and Mix 92.9)

How do you see this affecting the other stations?

And what stations will be primarily affected?

Will this be enough to change the trends and possibly the book?

It should help Mix, as AC's tend to do pretty well with the
temporary music change to Christmas. Jack has done a very
smart thing and added some of Mix's lighter music during
especially the dayparts. That hopefully will keep some of
the women listeners away from The Venus. Then again. The
question is how this will affect men 25-54 and whether
105.9 will get back some listeners. Interesting dynamics.

Ha! I've got to agree there.

As for the original question, wondering whether 2 Christmas stations will affect the book. Remember "The Fish" did it last year and only jumped up about 1 point in 12 plus. Mix will probably have a slightly higher impact.

Tibbs... this is totally unrelated...but,

I stumbled on your post from last year where you said you were with WRJT 107.1 in monterey when they went on the air. Me too... so who are you.. email me

I was in Knoxville most of this week and B97.5, Mix 92.9 sister station in Knoxville, has also gone all Christmas. Would it safe to presume that South Central Communications flipped all of their AC/Lite Rock stations to all Christmas for the holidays?
