Radio Info has their list of stations that have flipped to All Christmas.
They left WALK-FM off the list? They show Lite FM, but not WALK. I guess Long Island isn't important anymore.
Their news item also credits KESZ (99.9) Phoenix, with being a pioneer making its first holiday flip in 1996.
Funny but I remember WALK AM 1370 presenting an All Christmas format before 1996. I first heard WALK-AM's Christmas format in 1995. I don't know how many years they had been doing it before then. The Seasonal Christmas format moved to WALK-FM the year Jack Ellsworth sold WLIM and joined the program lineup at 1370. At least this is how I remember it.
I guess 96.1 won't be swithcing to all Christmas this year as its no longer Love 96.1
K-Joy has maintained their regular format the last several years for most of the season.
I wonder of WBAZ will be doing Christmas Lites on the bayz this year?
