All Christmas

Has any station started all Christmas as yet?

Sirius XM has 7 channels going...

WLTQ 92.1 in Sarasota is already all-Christmas. By the way I had no idea until recently that they are now calling themselves "The Coast". I thought they were still "My FM". Does anyone really pay attention to that frequency anymore anyway?

92.1 was highly successful for what seems like forever doing their "Dove" thing. They even had the WDUV call. Enormous ratings, inexpensive to operate. Then Clear Channel, yet again, seemed forced to fix something that wasn't broken.

Ha... they went all Chirstmas last year at Halloween as Santa-FM. Then after Christmas took on the "Coast" moniker. Whatta say we spin the wheel of station names again come December 26. No RMarino... no one seems to care about that frequency.

When CC bought Jacor, in 1999, the big switcheroos occured for Sa-ra-so-ta! and the Tampa Clusters.

The intellectual property of "The Dove" and call letters went to Cox along with the 105.5 frequency.

CC put their own version of "The Dove" for the Sa-ra-so-ta! Cluster at 92.1 with the call letters of WDDV, the same ones now with 1320, their Venice AM counterpart.

Jeff in Sa-ra-so-ta!

I stand corrected, Jeff. You are correct.
