what is the "Together as One" fest (from LA-area),
and is it awesome, or a "joke"? On the east coast
so I don't hear much press about it, it looks
impressive, and sounds 'cool' however, that is the
idea of a flashy/awesome--well designed web site...

this up-coming weekend on area/bpm.
Any one else sick of it hearing it *NON*stop
on bpm ? Yes, I understand the chr-image,
any station, anywhere, in north America, will
promote the current car giveaway....
back-sell songs, hit the contest real quick,
and front-sell, or lead into the commercial
that is sponsoring the biggest event of the year...

but,
it is way over kill! not only is it the same read:
"....Randall's Island, ....sister-station, Area....
50 dj's...... ...all starting at noon" . . . it is
every break!! either w/ the contest to meet
and greet or the read, it is just : waay too much!

they didnt get this aggressive w/ trying to bump
up subscriptions..when they had the tie in
w/ Father's day ( . . get the day the gift of satellite/xm-sirius radio)!

i think it's too much!
 
Together As One is a huge all-ages event. Used to be known for attracting a lot of candy raver kids who liked to roll while the music was playing, but it's evolved from a rave into a big festival.
