All Day Marathon on Ion Television

Ion will be running a 17-hour marathon of 'Paid Programming' all day today and every other day.

I hope that someone will be chronicling this for posterity as another pivotal moment in our nation's history.

Move over, President Lincoln.

Move over, Pearl Harbor.

Move over, Challenger Tragedy.

Is this a new development? Ion has run paid programming all night and for most of the daytime hours for as long as I remember.

Reorganization documents for Ion Television state that infomercial revenue is no longer reliable and they will be reducing their informerical inventory significantly by 2014. The new schedule will still have a lot of infomercial, 11 hours, but real programming will outnumber it with 13 hours.

It may be a special feed for DISH but I've noticed the west coast ion feed has been airing a couple hours of Qubo lately in the morning while the on screen programming guide says Paid Programming

So, what you are saying is ION will go from being insignificant to REALLY insignifcant?
