Anyone know how far back all hit 98.9 went in terms of music when they shut down? Did they stop at the 1990's or did they have 1980's (or possibly earlier) songs mixed in. I appreciate anyone who can help me on this. The reason I ask that is, if I can find an online DJ site (that's not youtube, but like it) where I, and anyone else can tune in to play our own songs, I plan on relaunching All hit 98.9. We'll be different from the normal top 40 stations in that we'll throw in older top 40 songs that aren't typically played on today's top 40 stations (there may be a few 1990's and 2000's songs on today's top 40 playlist, but not played as often as 2010's music) along with the new stuff, and some tracks that got airplay, but seemed to have been forgotten and not played on any other station (whether it be urban or adult contemporary). I'm gonna get a website put up with more details on this soon, and once that is complete, I'll share the link here. Also, if anyone knows any online DJ sites that can do what I want it to, would you please post them? I'm gonna do some googling myself and see what I get. This is basically similar to, and inspired by the KFMH online revival.
