All I Want for Christmas is... (BTV / PLB)

Dear Santa:

I have been a good engineer this year. All of my EAS tests were run successfully and I caused no willful and malicious interference to anyone this past year.

My wish list for Burlington / Plattsburgh is as follows:

1) Someone flips to Smooth Jazz
2) Someone picks up Imus
3) Eagle 97.5 changes freq so I can pick up CHOM in my car again!

My old #3 was that Louie Manno would get back on the radio. That has happened albeit under tragic circumstances. It is good to hear Louie on WLFE.

Happy Holidays,
Joe

I may not be Santa or even "Hannakah Harry" for that matter, but I do feel some of your pain, and perhaps I can offer up a few ideas for you since you've been a good boy this year...

1) Someone flips to Smooth Jazz
Check out www.kifm.com. This smooth jazzer is the #1 rated station in San Diego, and after you listen, you'll know why.. It's a treat for deserving ears. Even the Christmas music feed is awesome..

2) Someone picks up Imus
The I-Dude is online from WABC New York, or you can get the 'national' feed off of WTKK's website..

3) Eagle 97.5 changes freq so I can pick up CHOM in my car again!
Well, as they say, move on north my son, and your problem is solved !!

Thanks Joe:

From all accounts GG was a kind man… He even practiced his kindness on the way out and lead me into is chair. I was hoping to do some consulting work over at Champlain Radio Group. I never imagined I’d be back on the air… And I never imagined that I would enjoy being a country music host. They even hired my friend Joy Hopkins to co host the show with me. She use to be a part of our old WKDR Manno and Condon Show. And they are also running the show on WUSX!

JJ is a brilliant program director and Rich DeLancy is the best boss I ever had in the radio business (next to me). I missed radio very much… I tried to make the deli as much of a radio show as I could. But this is the real thing!

Thanks for your wish and thank you Mr. Griggs

Louie Manno
