All kidding aside....

Wasn't there a pioneer radio broadcaster who opened his Chicago-based show by saying "It's A Beautiful Day In Chicago!"??

His opening line is certainly appropriate today (October 27th).

Thanks, Z_K. It's been a long wait.

In a sense, winning this may kill off a lot of the Cubs/Sox feud in town. Perhaps now we can all join forces and attack the common enemy - Jay Mariotti.

As a Cubbies fan myself, I have had to swallow my pride and say congrats to all my Sox lovin friends.....its hard!! But truthfully, a heartfelt CONGRATS to the White Sox and their fans! OK, I did it....just remember how big of a person I was when the Cubbies do it next guys!

OK, I'm not a Cubs fan (and the Sox fans surely won't like this either) but I came across this link while cleaning out my email and laughed my butt off. Just relax and enjoy it! LOL
