I need someone to explain to me why the following is the case:
I lived in Carrollton (10 miles from the Alabama border) about 3 years ago for a total of 5 years. I use to listen to 97.1 The River with some interference by still audible. Over the past four months, I've been to Carrollton and I now start losing The River just west of Douglasville (Post Road area). Once I make it to Carrollton, the station is no longer audible. According to the contour maps, this would be accurate but how come was The River so much more clear until about the last 6 months? What makes this even more interesting is the comparison of 106.7 and 97.1. For the sake of argument, they are both located in the same area. While 106 is higher up, their power is much lower than 97.1, yet, I still am able to receive 106.7 in Carrollton with little problem. Has something happened in the last 6 months with 97?
