All-News Scoreboard for Large Markets: January 2014

Lots of snow this winter meant a ratings boost for most All-News stations east of the Mississippi. In New York, WCBS and WINS rose to #4 and a tie for #6 respectively. KYW Philadelphia saw its numbers go up by two ratings points. WBBM Chicago, WTOP Washington and WWJ Detroit all hit #1, along with KCBS San Francisco. And considering winter has another month to go, these stations should see better-than-normal ratings in February as well. The weather was warm and sunny in LA but KNX rose to #9, in a tie with usual AM heavyweight KFI. When was the last time two AM stations were in LA's top 10?
