95.7 All Sports kickin it 0.5 and you thought they could never reach a 0.5
0.5 is not bad. They just made that format change a couple of months ago. I didn't expect them to do a 9.7 nowDomino Rippy said:95.7 All Sports kickin it 0.5 and you thought they could never reach a 0.5

Here in Boston, we have 98.5 The Sports Hub. When the station flipped to sports 2 years ago, right off the bat it was successful, they even drew in a bigger audience than WEEI (AM) which has been a powerhouse here, but not anymore....maybe FM sports is the way to go now
Geek-O-Rama said:"True, but 98.5 The Sports Hub had both the Patriots and Bruins rights, as well as an established morning show in Toucher and Rich (who have since reached supernova status in the market) right at their launch."
But WEEI has the Red Sox and are still losing to Sports Hub away form Football and Hockey season. Being FM has to be an advantage.
Why would Entercom want to sell 95.7 to Cumulus? It sounds as smart as Cumulus selling KNBR to Entercom. If anything, I can see Cumulus starting their own Sports on FM, even a "KNBR-FM" to compete against 95.7.recto101 said:What about Entercom sell 95.7 and let Cumulus take over 95.7 for KNBR FM and 1050 should be sold or decommisioned. the KNBR brand sells better.
