All Things Finneran

Argy tunes is right, as you are Dumber Than A Box Of Hair, the FCC shuffles papers these days.
Big business has taken over...23 years after the prophecy of 1984. My congressman, Ed Markey, helped
put this downward spiral in motion - I was just over at his office - not that they are about to help a constituent, even if the TV station in question is UNDER their office.

The Iraq war is far more a mess to untangle than us complaining about Finneran, but at least we're having fun with it here. That's all ya can do these days. Bread & Circuses.

Todd Feinberg is on this morning touting the Julie "The Girl Executioners" Kahn's party line on Tom "The Felon" Finneran as a welcome addition to WRKO aka WROK...

Feinberg fails to mention one MAJOR factor... The FCC and WRKO/Entercon's license renewal.

Hire a felon - lose your license....?

Can you imagine if they hired an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT in such a position. Oh, the hypocrisy ! It is dripping from the frauds at WRKO.

Support the laws and punish the law breakers who are basically powerless. But HIRE the law breaker FELON's who might make money for you.

WRKO Is Hypocrisy City.

If the judge in the case feels that he has paid his debt to society, what would be your point in a complaint to the FCC? Perhaps you should bring up your issues with the Judge and the bar? ::)

Lucylu, let me 'splain it to you:

You posted something that makes sense. That only enrages and encourages the WRKO haters on this board. They can't deal with actual facts or sensible posts, so they'll just ignore you, insult you, or insist that you work for WRKO. They're as predictable as the sun rising in the east, as hysterically funny as Chris Rock and as pathetic as Matt Amorello trying to hold onto his (now former) job. Their motto is: "Never let facts or sense get in the way of our agenda."

We now return you to your regularly scheduled lynch mob.

Well said. This board pays too much attention to RKO as it is.

It is hard to avoid a train wreck when you see it happening.

Julie Girl doesn't have a license to drive...only a license to crash and burn.

It's quite easy to turn away, when there are more interesting things to turn to. If the station is as bad as some of you say, then why pay attention to it? There's some good stuff out there, it's not hard to find.

there's not much good stuff out there, mickey, unless you want to spring for Sirius or XM, which I refuse to.
Pay enough God knows for the premium movies and for all the internet stuff.

I would appreciate internet radio in the car...

Joe that's all we need, typing in an internet address while we drive so we can hear bulgarian love songs performed by Foghat or whatever niche we listen to.

???

Gee...I had absolutely NO IDEA that Foghat performed bulgarian lovesongs?

Maybe we should bring the idea up to singers, Rod Stewart or Barry Manilow? They both seem to be recording music from several musical sources these days! :p

Well, it seems we've strayed from the topic again and HOORAY it's more intriguing than the original debate itself!

So now that you have my attention, may I suggest a remedy to that problem?

If you have the internet in the car, most likely you also have it at home. Here's how it can work so that you are not causing 27-car pileups on the interstate.

Subscribe to the internet featuring internet radio. This would come with a wireless LAN that could be networked to your brand spankin' new internet radio. You surf for stations you like on the home puter, add them to favorites which will then be downloaded to presets on your car radio w/internet functions.

Go one step further for full internet capabilities. Wire up the keyboard so that it will only respond if your vehicle is in PARK or for you standard-transmission fans, your parking brake on.

Too easy. NEXT!!! ;D

there was a story on Jason in the globe last spring. He is 5'4.
