Howdy! Here's a heads-up for all you alt fans...RadioX on Long Island is now streaming worldwide @ www.radiox.fm.

Nationally, so many alternative stations are flipping to other things, but Long Island has a brand new station (less than 6 months old) and - now - more ways to hear it.

A lot of hard working radio geeks are awaiting for your comments. Thanks.

hey, RADIOx rocks! I was listening online today! I run BUZZ ROCK RADIO and RADIOx is the type of format we want our station to be.

RadioX is cool. Sounds good.

Sounds heavily gold-based maybe 90%. The music is good though. It says it's a 128kbps stream but there's some static and the sound quality doesn't sound 128.

Right now they're playing the song from around '97 by Summercamp called "Drawer". GREAT library track!!!

The stream is really 128k, the stream is taken off-air and tomorrow our engineer is putting up a directional antenna on the roof of the ISP that will clear that up.

I love Radio X. Somebody got it right for once. THIS is what a Modern Rock station is supposed to sound like - deep library, good selection of currents ... if the remaining Alternative stations paid more attention to their listeners than to their advertisers (I'm looking in a few directions ... CBS/Infinity, Clear Channel, etc.) then maybe they would have a success story on their hands like Radio X is becoming. I heard that WLIR is launching a comeback, but given how stale and safe it has sounded in recent years, I think it's safe to say that Radio X has nothing to worry about. All of you Modern Rock stations out there who play nothing but the same tired tracks from the likes of Green Day, Nickelback, Fall Out Boy and Coldplay 50 times a week (you know who you are), take notes - this is how it's done!</P>
