Actually, WCBS is running quite a bit higher than the first two quarters of the year (in the range of about 10% above the prior levels) while WINS is off by about 20%. While WINS had two soft months, they are summer months and relatively less important for sales than Spring and Fall months.

Some of this looks to be statistical wobble, and the fact that WINS is rather directional makes it more subject to panel placement than WCBS. So there are two sample-related issues that have nothing to do with programming.

We should look at this in a few months to see how it plays out. In any case, both stations are very strong performers and have always had dips and peaks.
