Almavision 87.7 FM

This is an LPTV (KSFV-LP on Channel 6) being programmed as a radio station.
Format - Spanish Christian music and church services.

(They also have a website: http://www.almavision.com)

It puts out quite a signal too, I can get it from Chatsworth to Fontana! There
are some regular FM's that would be envious of that kind of coverage....
Edited by radiocph on 08/22/05 03:08 AM.

XETV FOX 6 on 87.7 FM

Now that was listening at it's best! Chatworth to Fontana?

No more XETV FOX 6 on 87.7 FM

Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed with "Almavision"... I used to enjoy ocassionally listening to XETV all the way up here in LA! Now it's just religious Spanish programming. Sigh. Remember up to the late 90s, when you could pick up 91X or Jammin' 90.3 from San Diego as well? Not since all the religious translators took over!

I wonder what KSFV-LP will do when the transition to digital television is over. Without analog, no FM carrier at 87.7 ...
______________

I can still get 91X (or my favorite, Radio Latina 104.5) in the
canyons (I-405, I-15, Laurel Cyn corridors are good) or near the beach
(San Pedro/Palos Verdes they come in rather strong).
