Almost Two Months With BOB

Rockford has had BOB FM now for almost two months... For those in the Rockford area what do you think of BOB since it has been on the air... Foe me I really like the new format... When BOB first started you could still feel the classic hits touch, but now that it has been going for awhile the mix of music IMO is pretty much what I like to listen to... The mix seems to be 60/40 with 60 being the more pop/hot ac tunes and the 40 being the classic hits/rock songs... Once Pete gets going doing mornings it will be interesting to see who else may pop up... The only gripe I have is that there is a hum in their audio... It is not a grounding hum, but more of a hum like a bad electric hum... If they are playing a loud song you don't notice it, but if they play something slow you can hear it... Okay, we've had Jack here in Dallas for about a year. What do you think of BOB now? Still big on variety? I'm tired of Jack FM it lasted about six weeks now i'm tired of the same old stuff. The OH wow factor is gone for me.

Bob is BORING! Don't get me wrong, I like variety...but stairway to heaven into Narls Barkley Crazy a bit too big a swing. They also launched it way too early. The OH WOW factor was gone three weeks before the book started. I still hear B103 and ZOK in all the area businesses. Remember BOB spelled backwards...is BORING!

I'm not a big fan of the adult hits format, it seems I agree with the "radiogeek" adult hits finally do loose the OH WOW factor. Its a difficult format to program and keep fresh. I hope the team at BOB-FM are up to the task.
