Aloha to The Wave and Kiss FM

That's a good question. Delmarva and Great Scott are at or over the 7 station limit. plus neither one needs more class A stations. The small local broadcasters probable don't have the money Clear Channel wants. An out of town group would want more than two class A's. I think they may be of the market for quite some time, much as when Clear Channel had to spin off WJBR in Wilmington, because it had 5 stations in Philly. That station was in a trust for a long time before Nextmedia bought it.
I would love to see the Trustee dump the Top 40 on 105.5 and return to running the Wave on both frequencies. When the two were together before they pulled some good numbers, and that could be the key to a sale. 92.1 is always a top station in the Sussex and Worcester County breakouts, but with limited signal in Wicomico and Somerset it suffers from diary placement. It also would be cheaper to run. They also have interference from a translator on 91.9 north of the Centre at Salisbury.
Another question is staffing, now that they are under a trustee, will they lease space from Clear Channel, how will sales be handed, what about on air, after Kemo in the morning, Clear Channel staffers voice track. If you're under the trustee, there needs to be some type of seperation between the two. The computers used on the air are on the same network, the EAS units are shared, traffic is done by the Clear Channel staff. Finally, both stations are on leased towers, so a new owner is going to have a lot of expenses. The tower rents are high, news studios some where, that is between Fenwick Island and Salisbury (Technically WLBW's "main studio" is in North Ocean City to comply with the 25 mile rule, and is shared with the "main studio" for WOSC licensed to Bethany Beach).
