Alpha Media App

They're perhaps joining them all into 1 app like IHeartRadio?

Where did you hear this and are they gone from all app stores?
 
Alpha signed a deal with iHeartRadio last year, and that’s its primary platform now. From what I understand, it still has a deal with TuneIn as well.

Guessing keeping up with multiple single station apps became too much of a pain and, maybe, too expensive as well. Most single station app developers charge a fee for every support issue, and, when you have a lot of stations, that can add up quickly.
