ALT 94.9 moves to 99.1

ALT 94.9 is now simulcasting on 99.1 W256CD, displacing "99.1 The Game"'s sports format. The ALT 94.9 Facebook page has been changed to "ALT 99.1" to reflect the new frequency. Two pieces of the puzzle now remain:

1. When will the simulcast end on 94.9/99.1 and WATV-AM begins rebroacasting on 94.9? and

2. What happens with WZGX-AM in Bessemer which was scheduled to simulcast on 99.1? WZGX is currently airing its regional mexican format it had prior to its sale to Red Mountain Ventures.

And 3. What happens to The Game sports format that is (or was) on WDJC-HD3. I haven't heard from anyone with an HD radio in B'ham yet that can say if the HD3 has been killed off or is going on like nothing happened. Their Facebook page seemed to be business as usual.
 
My guess is the sports format is no more, although I have noted "99.1 The Game"'s facebook page is still active. There have been no comments from the station regarding a move to another frequency, however. I don't have access to an HD radio so no way to know for sure if "The Game" is still on WDJC-HD3, but 99.1 hasn't been IDing the HD3 in their legal ID for several months now. WZGX has been mentioned in the legal ID, although the AM has been doing its regional mexican format and obviously was not being rebroadcast on 99.1.
 
Not that a lot of people care, but what happens to the radio broadcasts of the Birmingham Bulls hockey team? They had a partial contract with 99-1 the Game.
