Alt/Punk/Mod Rock on Pop Radio

Who are the CHR's with a heavy Alt/Punk/Mod Rock influence:
WIXX & KBKS come to mind...even Sirius 1, any others I should know about?

Same question on CHR/Pop board.

92 PRO-FM (WPRO-FM/Providence, RI) has always had a modern rock/modern AC lean. I think they gave some spins to Muse's "Uprising" recently, as well as played the recent Kings of Leon tracks "Use Somebody" and "Sex on Fire."

WKRZ/Wilkes-Barre - big time

17 11 GOOD CHARLOTTE Like It's Her Birthday 43 38 5
20 18 A ROCKET TO THE MOON Like We Used To 38 31 7
22 22 BREAKING BENJAMIN Give Me A Sign (Forever & Ever) 27 26 1
19 24 SICK PUPPIES Maybe 26 32 -6
36 26 PLAIN WHITE T'S Rhythm Of Love 23 16 7
28 34 LINKIN PARK Waiting For The End 17 22 -5
37 38 THRIVING IVORY Where We Belong 15 16 -1
40 39 30 SECONDS TO MARS Closer To The Edge 14 13 1

They even played The Crow & The Butterfly by Shinedown, and Careless Whisper by Seether

Unless such a station is the only game in town, even a tourist will quickly realize that the next tune will be a Lady Ga Ga-esque musical bitch slap. I really do not understand why any serious alt rocker would even bother setting a button for THAT discord in music!

I agree 100%. The CHR winds up chasing two rabbits. I believe an alt with a 2.0 rating has a greater TSL and # of P1s than a CHR sporting an 8.0 for that very reason. Alt must focus on the 18-34 "Get Set" at ALL times. Nirvana maybe alienates two or three 18 year olds they should rightfully be stealing from the CHR? Counter productive thinking...

I think that CHRs that literally have close to a 100% white audience tend to get much better callout from Alt/Rock tracks - also, I've been to Wilkes-Barre PA, and it's pretty much a city nestled into the mountains - Not sure, but I think this more rural pop audience tends to like rock much more than your typical CHR audience
