Listening to the KROQ top 106.7 of 2005 is disappointing in this respect: female artists are being ignored by mainstream modern rock radio. Lately the artist Cia has been added to some outlets. After getting a lot of play back in the 1990s female artists were kicked out of the party during the rap rock invasion and largely haven't been invited back since.
