Palm Beaches Alt rock radio in west palm beach

That's right. The Bar was Active Rock. But they did play some songs that would be classified as Alt.

The only full time rock option in PBC will likely continue to be The Gator. Much of the market can also pick up Big.

95.5 hd2 does not call it self the buzz they call themselves alt 95.5 altwpb. How do they make money? They have an advertise link
When 95.5 HD2 first started it's Alternative format, it was named 95.5 The Buzz. Souce: Buzz Returns To West Palm Beach On HD2

Sometime in 2025, they re-branded to the current "Alt" branding, keeping the format the same.

As for the advertising, they don't have any over-the-air, as the website even says "South Florida's Commercial Free Alternative." I feel like putting the format and name on the HD2 signal is iHeart trying to keep the copyright (if that's the correct term) for the Alt name.
