Alt Rock Returning to Long Island?

As mentioned on the Nassau-Suffolk board, JVC Broadcasting has FCC approval to change the calls of WBZO 1570 AM to WDRE, at the end of the week.
The latter callsign was used in the past for the famous alt rock station on 92.7 FM, which had previously been WLIR,
Perhaps JVC is considering reviving alt rock, on WBZO's sister station WRCN 103.9(news/talk), or on one of their other LI stations. Or they may just be parking the call, acquired from a station in PA, in the event they decide some time in the future to bring back an alternative rock format.
