Alternative Rewind

IHeart Radio has a great internet station called Alternative Rewind. Found it on their app, they play Alternative 80’s and an occasional Lost 90’s tune. Cool station, I streamed it all day and enjoyed every song, the sound quality is excellent on my Bose Bluetooth headphones.

I've been listening to that and Smells Like the 90s (90s alternative) and ALT2K (2000s alternative). The flaw is that SLT90s can overplay certain songs ("Champagne Supernova") but once in a while, play a lost song as well. And A2K plays Eminem and Outkast (which in my opinion is not even alt but beggars can't be choosers). Otherwise, better stations to listen to off iHeart.

Radio.com also has a "Flashback ALT" station (broadcasted from San Diego) which is just as good as "Alternative Rewind" and way better than their "ALT" format.

I do agree, Flashback Alt is excellent.

If you want to hear a non-iheart station streaming alternative rock, check out The Buzz
