Dan Gross in today's Daily News says that Alycia Lane is having marital problems.
Earlier this month, when we reported that Lane, 34, had signed a five-year deal to stay at CBS 3, she told us Adkins, 32, was considering moving here. That's now unlikely, informed sources tell us. Lane, as of late, has not been seen wearing her wedding ring, but has previously said she doesn't always wear it.

Geesh! They're newlyweds! Almost all new marriages are a litle rough at the start. Besides, she seems to be a very sweet individual. Let them work through. I hope that it does work out.

Wasn't she on Dr. Phil not too long ago (perhaps during sweeps) talking about her marital tribulations?

Did she get remarried after that?

And is she dating Mikey Klein from the Inky?

Lane's new love interest

CBS 3 anchor Alycia Lane, who has been essentially separated from her North Carolina husband, Jay Adkins, since November, is now romantically involved with another out-of-towner, Matthew Hesse, 28, of Colorado.

We're told Lane met Hesse in Colorado while vacationing there several weeks back. It's already serious, sources say, with Hesse having visited Lane in town for several days last week and she accompanying him last weekend to his brother's wedding in Florida.

Lane yesterday declined to comment on her new relationship.
