It's definitely a city grade signal, low power but wide enough to spill into the 1st adjacent 990 and 1010. Probably no processing or NRSC filtering, the audio sounds flat but clean for what it is.That's what I thought. I posted around 9:30 PM yesterday so WCCD should have been off.
My post reflects the time at which I was actually tuning in. New York time.it shows in my local time here, but not all boards are like that.. i dont take too much stock often times in board time stamps because i use so many different Message boards and theyre all different. my state even has two time zones.
Your post itself nor RadioFixers had a specific time in the message content, so i wasnt sure when it was posted
I checked mine using the 92.7 feed yesterday. It is the WKDD 98.1 HD2 broadcast that is being heard on 1000 AM.
Would that mean that IHeart is now in charge of AM 1000 in Cleveland? Is this still WCCD or another station now?It is the WKDD 98.1 HD2 broadcast that is being heard on 1000 AM.
Oh. 100 watts from East 131st and Miles in Cleveland. Interesting move. This may explain something. They've moved in towards Cleveland, apparently.

The name on the application sounds familiar, Dale Edwards. If you google it, the results mention a retired policeman and former radio station owner. This may explain something. They've moved in towards Cleveland, apparently.

Unless he plans on filing for a city of license change, which I personally would. From Parma to Cleveland. If WCCD 1000 is licensed to Parma, doesn't it need to cover Parma?
Not only that, WCCD shouldn't be on during nighttime hours. As I had mentioned in a previous post on this topic, I haven't heard a Legal ID that mentions the AM1000 frequency in Cleveland. Air-1 must, or at least, may be a place holder. The strong, and clear, Air-1 signal for Cleveland is at 92.7 FM. There is no need for duplicate programming on AM1000. Who would donate money to support this?

Evidently not, since there are many AMs with night power so low that the coverage is literally four or five miles.I thought the min wattage for AMs was 250 watts unless it was grandfathered. This is not a STA.
