I had predicted that on some thread here.

The fact that the new owners were Indian and seeking a translator near the
S.V. Temple in Monroeville gave me a clue. There are enough Indians living
in Pittsburgh now that this could be a pretty successful niche format.

There recently was re-opened a Uni-Mart here in our Fustville PA. It had been derelict for maybe ten years. The staff/ownership, with a quite flourishing business, is from India. The wife and I refer to it as the new delhi. That got a real chuckle from one of the proprietors.

Every so often, the oldest guy on duty will have Indian music playing, from some CD machine. But mostly, no doubt using day-part wisdom, they have on the huge-signal 'T-102'. WAVT Pottsville is a real hybrid A/C. If they took ratings here, T-102 would score at least a 20 in every book. Either way, it can really be cool to see so-called 'immigrants' enjoying, communicating and co-existing with us Yanks.
