AM 1310 - Regional Mexican

I heard a Regional Mexican station under Radio Disney last night...

I think it is

KIQQ out of Barstow CA at 118 Watts at night or

KKNS out of Corrales NM at 500 Watts at night ...I think that's to far

I checked Spanish on 1310 on RL, No Search came up

I tried searching Spanish stations on 1310 just now and came up with these: XEAM/1310 AM Matamoros, TA (Near Brownsville, TX and probably too far away from you) and XEFH/1310 AM Agua Prieta, SO (Just across border from Douglas, AZ). All the others are in the eastern US.

There are several possibilities from Mexico (in this list derived from Fred Cantu's mexicoradiotv.com):

XEC Tijuana, B.C. (1,000/1,000)
XEBTS Bahia de Tortugas, B.C.S. (1,000 daytime)
XELPZ La Paz, B.C.S. (1,000 daytime)
XERU Chihuahua, Chih. (1,000/250)
XEGRT Taxco, Gro. (1,000 daytime)
XETIA Guadalajara, Jal. (10,000/1,000)
XEVB Monterrey, N.L. (5,000/250)
XEHIT Puebla, Pue. (5,000/1,000)
XEHY Querétaro, Qro. (1,000/250)
XEFH Agua Prieta, Son. (1,000 daytime)
XEAM Matamoros, Tamps. (1,000/250)
XEHV Veracruz, Ver. (2,500/1,000)

Also La Nueva 1310 in Creasent City, CA, can't remember the calls but I think around 1000 watts

Consider KKNS in Corrales / ABQ New Mexico... while it drops power at night, it could have made a mistake... and it is definitely regional Mexican. The Barstow station was reported silent due to the bankruptcy of Moon Broadcasting, but may have returned after an August sale.

XEC is principally a talk station, with some paid religion / religious talk.
