AM 1370 CHARLESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND

Charlestown's AM 1370 was granted a 2.5KW Day/5.0KW Night facility, with a 3 tower diagonal in-line array from what I can see.

The signal is almost all Southeast. The reason they can go to 5KW at night is during the day they must protect WALK 1370, WNRI 1380 and WFEA 1370..... and at night. all those reduce to obscenely low power or have directional patterns away from the area.

From what I hear, improvements will be made and a new tower site will be found to give the station a full "Mystic-Stonington-Westerly-Charlestown-Newport" Signal.

As for call letters, I've heard ideas floating around but nothing is for sure yet.
And no, none of them being considered are WKFD or WEGM.

Any idea what the plan for this is? Or ownership? I remember it coming up granted by the FCC a couple of years back.

There is NO connection to THIS CP in any form(Ownership or FCC data). This is a brand new CP.

I don't know exactly what they are thinking of programming
