AM 1490 in Durham off air

I've noticed that WDUR 1490 AM in Durham (a simulcast of WETC 540/Wendell/Zebulon) has been off the air for at least the past two weeks. WETC seems to be running per usual.

Probably has to do with what TRi informed yesterday:

After a default on an eight-year-old loan, Raleigh’s regional Mexican WETC (540) goes back to the seller. That’s Sanchez Carolina Regional Broadcasting. It sold WETC, Wendell-Zebulon, NC to Filiberto Prieto’s Prieto Broadcasting with a seller note in the original principal amount of $1,450,000. But things haven’t worked out. One of its towers collapsed and it’s been on Special Temporary Authorization while it re-built – but it’s giving up its plan to increase day power from 4,000 watts to 10,000 watts and will let a construction permit expire. Meanwhile, Prieto Broadcasting defaulted on the note to Marta Sanchez, who takes the station back, in satisfaction of the debt. Prieto created a regional simulcast with WETC and WDUR, Durham (1490), and it continues to own the 1490. Georgia-based Prieto also owns Atlanta-market Spanish news/talk WFTD, Marietta (1080).
