Mr. Bonilla's 620 has picked up the ESPN Spanish network. The 800 outlet retains the XESPN callsign, and has
a news/talk format.
I have noted the signal strength to see if any changes occur.
It appears to be a mix of KWKW out of L.A. and some talk/infomercials. Although I heard a lot of ESPN stuff earlier in the A.M.
it may in fact be ESPN for only certain periods...stay tuned.

The station is from a single stick, south of Rosarita, but north of Ensanada. South of the 690 towers -- and close to the giant statue of Jesus along the toll road. On a high bluff overlooking the Pacific.
The coastal location is for 1030 AM, in Puerto Nuevo. Cerro Jaramillo (between T.J. and Tecate) is the original location of 550,
which then changed to 620. Although there are 2 towers onsite, 620 uses only one. The other tower was for the 780 AM, and
for a short time 1700, and is now used for some relay purposes and the Aux. site for 105.7 .
