AM 700 KSEV signal

I not sure many people listen to KSEV but recently when I switch over the signal was of really poor quality. I mean the signal isn't that strong on the south east side of town anyway. I just wondered if something was going on with KSEV.
 
What time of day? At night KSEV goes directional to protect WLW in Cincinnati. It's not uncommon in the Bay Area for WLW to override KSEV after dark.
 
KSEV is directional during the day and night with a day pattern and a night pattern. Day power is 25,000 watts and night power is 1000 watts.

Actually KSEV's daytime power is 15kw. Still a substantial difference in day/night powers.
