It is the worst signal I have ever heard for a 1000 watt station. I mean I cant even hear it well in my car or on a transistor inside this office. 790 is 5kw at night, and covers the City quite well. Am I missing something?

I see what you're saying, but the station is still very interesting to listen to, if just to hear their afternoon sports update person botch player names on a semi-daily basis. You can tell either that person doesn't take that gig seriously or is way out of place on that station. Either way, credibility is sorely lacking.

Oh you mean like that "Russian" tennis guy Andre' Uh-goss-see or that Cuban steroid-taking (allegedly) baseballer who is now known as Italian-sounding Rafael Palm-me-ero?

Sorry, but it sticks out like Avril Lavigne introducing the rock legend David Booey.

Certainly nothing personal, but not being detail-oriented when you're out of your element hurts your, your company's, and the station's credibility.

Well, I really dont know what else to tell ya except that nobodys perfect. I didnt realize that many people were that unhappy with those sports updates. Oh well, a COlt45 and some Newport menthols will get me through the rest of this day. Nothing personal. Yea, I do admit I cant pronounce some goofy names, butI am not an ESPN sporstcaster either. Positive thinking people.

Enjoyed all those posts... It's just that, and I know of what I speak, no one has ever "bogarded" a joint.
The term is "Bogart" like Humphrey Bogart. I don't know the origin or why it's called "Bogart", but as a former expert in that field, I just wanted to point that out.
It could have just been a typo, but I've never smoked anything from a "boing" either. We liked to use a "bong" and my favorite one had for face masks coming off of it.
...but I digress.
Now...'ere....hit dis!
