All I know is that it's a low-powered TIS station that gives airport information at Hartsfield-Jackson. But I haven't been hearing it recently and it is a waste of a good frequency.
830 info HERE, and 890 info HERE, but, of course, no updates.
I saw no activity of tower building the last time I was at Morgan Falls.
890 is supposed to be 5kw-D, daytime-only, so WLS listeners won't be blocked out at night in Atlanta, BUT 830 is supposed to be 50kw-D, 450w-N, DA-2, so WCCO will be messed up in Atlanta. I talked to a conspiracy theroist the other day who said there is this small but powerful secret elitist group in Minneapolis that.... well, I'm really not allowed to tell you...

Yeah, CCO has a ton of listeners in Atlanta. I can imagine the outrage if 830 goes on the air and blocks "Sports Tonight" with Dark Star. Oh the humanity!
