AM 860

Now with KTRB off for 3 hrs, I'm hearing Spanish on 860

I think it's KMVP Phoenix, AZ at 1000 Watts..

Can anyone in CA conferm this??

That's what I'm picking up in the bay area...XEMO. I can't really hear anything else...too bad there's not much else to catch on 860 while KTRB is temporarily offline at nights (on the west coast, anyways). The only other strong station out west on 860 is KPAM in Oregon (15kw at night), but it's directional to the west towards Portland.

Its most likely XEMO Tijuana. KMVP is gospel now I believe.

KMVP is indeed black-gospel (LMA'ed but still owned by Bonneville), with some ASU basketball overflow during the winter, when the Suns are on KTAR. The station is still for sale, AFAIK, so who knows what its future is.

"The only other strong station out west on 860 is KPAM in Oregon..."

In fact, KPAM's transmitter isn't even *in* Oregon!

Here in Warminster, PA, the only 860 I've gotten at night(after local daytimer WWDB signs off) was
CJBC from Toronto, a French-language station.
