AM 910 in Jacksonville, NC

I remember this station did talk as WLAS and was, most recently, WSRP with a Spanish format. The last few times I've been through Jacksonville, 910 has been silent. I'm curious as to the story behind this station. They had a great facility (5kw Day and, I think, 1kw nights), by far the best of Jacksonville's 5 AMs (counting Camp Lejeune licensed WSME) but haven't seemed to do well.

WSRP was Spanish "la invasora" and the owner’s license was Mr. Valdemar in Washington. He also owns some other stations in North Carolina but he doesn't operate them, he rents them. My guess is that he bought some with not very good signals and had hard time leased them.
