AM 910 radio disney in Detroit sounds like an AT40 radio station.

AT40 = American Top 40

Listen to AM 910 is you dont like Channel 955's mostly hip-hop top 40 format.

So by saying Radio Disney is a CHR/Top 40 Station like you are Human Numan. that means Chicago has one on 1300 AM, Cleveland and St Louis on 1260 AM, Indianapolis on 98.3 FM (Making it Indy's 4th CHR Station). Louisville on 680 AM

I like it! Makes new songs sound kinda "retro-fied" without the cryatal clear "too perfect" FM or digital signal.

WWMK/1260 in Cleveland is too inaudible now, being in the farcical "HD Radio," the standard signal is muddled and wimpish. Plus WWMK never had a good signal to begin with... it pulls away from Cleveland's suburbs and beams over the lake to London, Ont.

I'll grant you that, forty years ago, they were "WIXY (Wixie) 1260," the hottest AM Top 40 station in the city. But comparing a satellite-fed children/tweens format of today (regardless of how good it is) to an all-local, 1960s Top 40 station - let alone AT40 in any era - is like comparing apples to lawn furniture.

Who's comparing? I was just saying it's good to hear upbeat current music on A.M for a change other than just :60 of some talk show's bumper audio. It's the closest thing in this area (when it comes in) to a current A.M CHR station. If you don't like it there's the dial.
